This article by Mac Slavo at SHTFplan.com is well worth reading. However, I’m not sure how I feel about all this. Had it been a high ranking official like Rumsfeld, I’d say “Bullshit” immediately. This guy in the video honestly looked like he didn’t want to be talking about this AT ALL. Obviously uncomfortable with what looked like telling the truth. The coaching off screen was definitely damning as well.
I am sad to say that I bought into the WMD scare perpetrated on us by Bush and his cronies. I was afraid then and thought it justified our actions. I’ll never again trust the “official” assessments of these threats because of that.
But, it seems they’re trying to hide this which is puzzling. Maybe it really is a serious threat and they don’t want us to know how scary it is. It seems like with all the fear-mongering that has gone on in the past, they would use any attempt like this to justify further limits on our civil liberties in order to “protect” us.
